Halloween

Okay, so I’m a day late. And… if you count the days since my last post I’m a bit later. Ah well, I’ve no defense so we’ll just move on shall we? So. Halloween. Definitely one of my very favorite times of year. I love dressing up. I love carving pumpkins. I love watching all [...]

Oh so much nicer.

As you can probably tell, Dez has calmed down a bit since my last post. He’s been so good lately that we’ve even been letting him sleep on his bed at night! We’re up to three nights running with no incidents. Huge progress doesn’t even begin to describe it. He even got to meet his [...]

Very Naughty

I was going to write a post about how good Dez has been lately. I was going to talk about how much better he’s been since he got over his surgery. Then he turned back into “Dez: the canine typhoon.” Granted, we have been warned that it can take up to 6 weeks after a [...]

Naughty

We knew when we adopted Dez that things would be hard for a while. We knew he liked to chew on things and that his last family wasn’t sure whether he was completely house trained. We knew that he had a lot of energy and a talent for getting himself in trouble. We knew he [...]

The other highly anticipated news is that Agadez will be arriving [...]

Agadez

This is Agadez, aka Dez, an Azawakh (Tuareg Hound) who is currently residing with some friends in Chicago. Unfortunately for his current family, but fortunately for us, they are having trouble spending enough time with both Agadez and their four year old daughter. This means that Dez will be moving in with us at the [...]

Moving In

I just wanted to say how fortunate Ewan and I feel that we have such amazing friends. Our last few trips to Bozeman have really brought home how truly blessed we are to have a great extended family. When we first arrived in Madison, we were pleasantly surprised to find a bunch of goodies stuffed [...]

Graduation

Things are so crazy right now that I can’t even write a real post, but I’ll tide you all over with some pictures from Ewan’s graduation. This is Ewan amongst the other doctoral candidates. There are a couple more pictures on our photo site (the link is on the left), and I’ll post more once [...]
